The performance builder for phosphate-free formulations
WeylClean® SKS-6, a layered sodium disilicate (δ-Na2Si2O5), is a modern builder that improves the primary and secondary washing effects of laundry and automatic dishwashing detergents. It softens water without forming precipitates. WeylClean® SKS-6 can absorb and carry liquid components, helping to increase detergent compactness.
Provides alkalinity which improves primary washing effects
High binding capacity for Ca2+, Mg2+ and heavy metal ions
High liquid absorption capacity for surfactants and polymers increasing detergent compactness
Improves secondary washing effects by dispersing soil in the washing liqor
Due to its solubility, WeylClean® SKS-6 is eco-friendly as it reduces the amount of sewage sludge produced in treatment plants
Better performance compared to sodium triphosphate – no need for additional cobuilder
Reduction of fabric incrustation in laundry processes
Prevention of glass corrosion in dishwashing processes
