Potasse et Produits Chimiques SAS (PPC)
Potasse et Produits Chimiques SAS (PPC) is a producer of fine and specialty chemicals, located in the eastern part of France, on the Swiss and German borders. The site is accessible by road and rail, close to the Rhine river.
PPC is renowned for the synthesis of organic compounds based on bromination, hydrobromination and derivates technologies. PPC is also as a leading producer of potassium derivatives. The site also provides extended bromine recovery services from customer’s process streams, thereby contributing to a sustainable management of resources.
In 2015, PPC has invested in a membrane based electrolysis, switching thus to an environmental friendly technology. After 18 months of conversion work, PPC produces now Chlorine and Potassium Hydroxide 100% from this unit.
PPC is ISO 9 001, 50 001 and 14001 certified.
