Bernd Mucha received a PhD in organic chemistry from the University in Hannover. He started his career working for Hoechst in polymerisates, polyvinylalcohol business. After several appointments in R&D, operations and as a member of the central strategic planning team (ZDA) within Hoechst and various other senior management positions in 2010 he finally became Managing Director of CBW GmbH in Bitterfeld. Furthermore, Bernd is a PMI certified project manager, PMP. He joined WeylChem Group of Companies in March 2017 as Managing Director of Allessa GmbH and WeylChem Höchst GmbH. Bernd is married with three grown-up children and enjoys golf and cross-biking and lives with his wife in Leipzig.
Andreas Maier studied at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and holds a Ph.D. in organic Chemistry. He started his career working for Hoechst in the fine chemicals business, which became part of WeylChem in 2007. After assignments in R&D, Operations, Sales as well as Business Management in Europe and the US, he became Head of the Consumer Care Business in September 2015. Andreas is married with 3 children and enjoys family life, canoeing and hiking.
Rafael Reiser studied Economics at the University of Konstanz in Germany. He occupied various operational and staff positions within AkzoNobel, ENKA and CarboTech before joining WeylChem in 2011 as CEO of WeylChem Griesheim, Frankfurt and Höchst. In late 2013, he was promoted to CEO of Allessa to restructure and lead the company, developing it further with a medium sized company structure and attitude. Rafael lives close to Cologne with his family.
Gilles studied at the University of Montpellier in France and started his career in the Hoechst group. He has held several leading positions in laboratories, production, controlling, commercial support and site management with Hoechst and later Clariant in Europe. Gilles was appointed managing director of WeylChem Lamotte after the takeover of the activity by ICIG in January 2014. Since the beginning of 2016 he is also the managing director of PPC. He lives in France, where he practices mountain sports in both winter and summer. Gilles is married with 3 children.
